The nominations are for doctors referred by their patients as good professionals and individuals

At a special ceremony on May 29, in the presence of the Chair of the National Assembly, Mrs. Tsveta Karayancheva and the Minister of Health Mr. Kiril Ananiev, specialists from all over the country received their certificates in the initiative of the 24 Hours Newspaper – Physicians we trust in.

Six physicians from the Uni Hospital received awards – the Hospital Manager Dr. Krasimira Chachova-Rancheva, the Head of the Medical Oncology Dept. Dr. Rositsa Krasteva, the Head of the Plastic-Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department Dr. Regina Hatar, the Head of the Radiotherapy Department Dr. Zachary Zahariev, the Head of the Thoracic Surgery Dept. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rumen Filipov, the Head of the Department of Cardiology Dr. Stoyan Grebenarov. Special prizes were awarded to the young post-graduate physicians – Dr. Alexandra Stefanova, a specialist in Plastic Surgery at Uni Hospital received a prize.

The nominations covered 550 Bulgarian physicians, referred to by their patients as good professionals and individuals.

The “Doctors We Trust” can now also be found on the Internet by patients using a unique search engine of the 24 Hours Newspaper online edition. The search engine provides all the information available about specialists, as well as contact information for patients to be able to reach them.
