The Department of Surgery at Uni General Hospital has a 3^rd level of competence and has 20 hospital beds.

The Department of Surgery performs diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment in emergency and scheduled protocols to surgical diseases of the abdominal cavity – the gall bladder, bile system, liver, pancreas, spleen, lower esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small and large intestines, anus and perianal space, retroperitoneum. In addition, plastic surgery is carried out on all types of hernias, breast disorders, thyroid diseases, etc.
