The Uni Hospital team was awarded two awards – Medical Investments and Special Patient Award for Dr. Zachary Zahariev, Head of the Department of Radiation Therapy at the 5th edition of the National Medical Awards `2019. The ceremony took place at the Marinela Hotel in Sofia on May 10th.

Upon accepting the Investment Award, the Executive Director of Assarel Panagyurishte Health S.A., Dr. Yavor Drenski, shared the award is not accidental – it is an example of a successful and fruitful public-private partnership between the Municipality of Panagyurishte, Assarel-Medet S.A. and dozens of physicians from the region. Uni Hospital is a comprehensive social project aiming to facilitate patient access to quality care, not only in the region but all across the country. The investor has set the ambitious task of investing not only in latest-generation equipment, but also in the most valuable asses – the medical teams, added Dr. Drenski.

The hospital manager Dr. Krasimira Chachova-Rancheva thanked as well and emphasized the awards for Uni Hospital are recognition for all physicians of the Panagyurishte hospital.

This is yet another assessment of the Uni Hospital team as in 2016 it received an award in the Medical Innovation category.
